The document for Outlook Synchronization contains a great description for understanding the synchronization between Dynamics CRM / 365 and Exchange mailboxes. From the product logic they are very similar between Outlook Synchronization and Server-Side Synchronization and to the latest version. Very interesting is the “deletion rules” chapter. Insider tipp: Do you know, that disabling filters has the same effect than deletions?
